Very nice walks in nature and around the monastery.

Unfortunately nothing going on due to the corona. There was a very attractive menu with food boxes to take away. Unfortunately we didn't have any money with us. Definitely worth it.

Nice buildings and grounds. Especially good for walking. It's worth a visit.

It's a very special place ... the atmosphere is just special .. I've been there so often and no matter whether in summer outside or in winter in the cozy chimney rooms with light flair you feel good. There is also something for everyone ... soup or cake, tea or coffee ... just great.

Very nice location. Unfortunately closed when we were there. But still highly recommended. History and art in one place. Nice.

This place is mysterious. There are some inspection options that cost money and, as far as I know, are not offered daily. It is a popular wedding location in the city. The forest around it offers relaxation and sports opportunities. It is located in the Ems and near the railroad track.

Beautiful for a long walk. The art exhibition gave me a lot of pleasure, e.g. Pictures by August Macke. Worth seeing...

Simple but beautiful guest room. Breakfast very tasty with regional organic products. Bicycle boxes as storage space.

Great terrain and nice hiking trails. Really nice yoga health day there.

The monastery is a cultural site. Outside in the park very nice to go for a walk.

We were there for 1 night as a cyclist. The monastery is very beautiful, and the park is also great for cycling, running and relaxing. The rooms are not all equipped with a bath and toilet. The breakfast was good, you could choose what you want and the lady (who was really nice) put it on our tray. You have to walk a little further to the city. If you want to relax, this is the right place for you, but is that something for families with children over several days? You have to find out what you could do with the kids there beforehand

Nice to cycle by but not worth the detour. Cycling road is pretty though

Beautiful and always well-maintained parks. Popular dog get-together, wonderful for walking. You can sit very nicely at the small ponds and watch the many animals. There are wonderful plants to admire in every season. The beautiful magnolias bloom in spring, which just looks fantastic. Many park benches available for short breaks. Also great for a picnic in summer.

Very nice to go for a walk. The cafe is nice too. Cake tastes. Beer too ;-) Many seats behind the monastery. The way to the Ems and then continue along the Ems is directly past the monastery (for bicycles and on foot.)

Very well maintained property in a wonderfully quiet environment. Really nice monastery cafe with tasteful ambience and large garden - the homemade cake is highly recommended! Various art objects complete the field of interest.
